Our Philosophy

Learn more about what we do

We believe every child has the right to an education and to be able to learn. We also believe that no children should be left behind. Children need someone to share their joys and sorrows. Children need adults to guide them to success and to discover themselves.

We believe the role of a teacher is to be a facilitator and to provide enriching activities for children as they learn about their strengths, and work on their weaknesses. A teacher’s responsibilities are to create a safe environment where children feel safe to explore, and feel free to express themselves.

We believe that each child learns differently. Children are curious from infancy and have a desire to learn from their environment and those around them. Children learn by doing, through their past experiences they are able to learn from their success and failures.

We believe that through the child-centered curriculum approach, children will be free to express themselves, more hands-on opportunity, more teacher support and parents very much involved in class activities are the most effective methods of the teaching.

We believe that the key to teaching is having a good relationship between a teacher and the child. We are not just the teacher but also a co-learner. Besides building good relationships with children, it is also important to understand a child’s cultural backgrounds. By observing children carefully, we able to creatively plan their curriculum and their learning will reflect our abilities.
